Admissions

Our admissions process follows our school calendar. In September we schedule our fall tours for families interested in the following school year. In January we notify families of available slots for the fall. Families who were not offered a slot are kept on the waitlist. All applications received in the fall go into the same pool. We do not have a first-come, first-serve policy. Looking at the entire pool of applicants allows us to balance for age, gender, diversity and schedule. The Monteverde School employs an anti-bias curriculum. We welcome children from non-traditional families. We encourage diversity in terms of race, religion, language, physical differences, and ethnic origin.

Financial Aid

Much of our fundraising monies and all of our private donations go to support partial scholarships for families who demonstrate financial need. Since admissions are done on a need blind basis financial aid is applied for once your family has been offered a spot. We typically give some assistance to 15-20% of our families.

Tuition

We follow a year-round schedule which begins in September and runs through August. Tuition is divided into equal payments and, therefore, does not vary with the number of school days in a month. Payment is due the 1st of each month and a late fee will be added after the 15th of each month.
